Hello Kitty Wish
Riverside, CA; Jan. 2012 – Merchant Services, an Alliance Partner of SBGA, partners with the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Orange County and the Inland Empire to make a little girl’s wish for a room makeover come true.
Beatriz is fighting bone cancer. As a result of her compromised immune system, she is required to spend a lot of time at home and her bedroom has become her haven. It is her place to go and play with her toys, away from doctors, hospitals, chemotherapy, and the everyday reminders of her illness. When Beatriz was asked what her most heartfelt wish was, without hesitation she said she wanted to have her room redecorated.
“Beatriz’ room makeover was inspired by her favorite character, Hello Kitty. It featured Hello Kitty-themed décor, toys, and even the white four-post canopy bed she had always wanted,” said Bob Parisi, Senior Vice President of Merchant Services. “Giving to organizations like Make-A-Wish is at the core of our business philosophy. We love helping to provide experiences that bring a bit of hope and joy to these kids and their families.”
